The second Hong Kong edition of Roca’s express design contest was held on Wednesday 23rd November.
The participants had to conceptualise and redesign a product against the clock for the 3 x 3 x 3 BATHROOM concept, that is a 3-square meter bathroom with 3 functions (WC, washbasin and shower) and for 3 people living in an apartment.
Among all projects submitted, the Jury, which was made up by renowned professionals, awarded the first prize to the out-of-the-box, innovative Water Drop design by Chung Shu Wing from Dojo and Shing Lok Tin from Urban Room for their original, bold and functional idea. The second prize went to Cheung Ka Wai from Mr, Louis Hung from CL3 Architects Limited and Raori Ravin from HKU for their project Toilet3, while the third prize went to Smart-Room by Florence Ma, Yip Tsun Yin and Chan Yi Sa.
The second Hong Kong edition, which had the support of the Hong Kong Interior Design Association, has strengthened once more Roca’s commitment to hosting activities seeking to promote design and young talents from this city.
